He began his medical training with oriental and complementary diploma studies in Shiatsu and Tui Na in Greece – also his homeland. He was awarded an Honours Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Human Bioscience at Middlesex University, UK, and Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China. He specialised in advanced cosmetic acupuncture and pursued further specialisation through clinical placements at two Beijing hospitals.
